SMS service to stop coffee theft set up

Nairobi - Coffee Management Services has put a mobile alert that will ensure curbing of coffee theft, following a series of thefts in Central Kenya.
Speaking to The Star the Coffee Management Services Project Manager Catherine Ng'ang'a said that they have set up alarm system gadgets that will give an alert to the person incharge of the dispatch store, chairman of the society and the police.
Ng'ang'a went on to add that that insurance companies have also agreed to insure coffee on transit as a way to assure farmers that they will get paid ones their coffee is stolen as it has happened.
