New 'Call of Duty' lands exclusively on iPad, iPhone

Cape Town - Activision has released a new episode in its Call of Duty series exclusively for Apple devices, a report says.
According to the Guardian, the new Call of Duty sells at around $7.79 and has been specifically designed for iPhone and iPad devices.
The game places users in a simulated future war zone where the enemy is unknown.
Users can also purchase content such as tokens inside the application to improve game play.
Most mobile games follow a model where it is free to play and monetisation is centred around purchasing on content, and Activision's strategy appears to bet that iOS users will be prepared to pay for the popular game.
