Nairobi to host top IT conference

Nairobi - Kenya will next week host one of the
continent’s prime information and communications technology events.
The capital city Nairobi will be the venue for the Techno Brain's 2013 Annual Business
Conference, a development organisers said bore testament to the city’s status
as one of the continent’s technology hubs.
“Nairobi is turning into an epicenter of all things technology in Africa, which
is why we've chosen it as our ABC 2013 destination. Add to that, it is home to
our corporate headquarters and the fact our Kenya Research and Development
Center recently achieved CMMI-Level 3, gave us plenty of reasons to choose
Nairobi,” said Manoj Shanker, Group Chief Executive Officer of Techno Brain.
Techno Brain, Africa’s leading IT Solutions, Education and Training and
information technology-enabled services provider with operations in Africa,
Asia, United States of America, United Kingdom and United Arab Emirates will be
holding its Annual Business Conference (ABC) 2013 next Monday and Tuesday.
The event will be held at Safari Park Hotel.
The Annual Business Conference is Techno Brain’s flagship event held during the
end of every calendar year. The event brings together Techno Brain employees,
partners and clients from all locations across the world. The conference is
held in a new exotic African location each year. The event is seen in the
industry as a great platform for launching new products, discussing emerging
technologies, exchanging best practices and forging new partnerships. The
previous year's conference was held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
“This year's ABC is going to be bigger and better than all the previous
editions. We have some exciting product launches lined up to go with our client
and partner interactions, and celebration of the Techno Brain community at
large,” said Shanker.
