Waiguru of no value to Uhuru, says Raila

08 November 2015, 06:59

Nairobi - CORD leader, Raila Odinga wants President Uhuru Kenyatta to tell the world why he deleted Ann Waiguru’s name from the corruption list that led to suspension of four Cabinet Secretaries in March.

Raila said he had evidence to prove that Anne Waiguru’s name was removed from the infamous list of shame that also implicated Felix Koskei (Agriculture), Davis Chirchir (Energy), Michael Kamau (Transport) and Kazungu Kambi (Labour) in corruption.

He added that the President’s silence on the runaway corruption being reported in various ministries ‘signifies guilt or acceptance of the status quo,’ and asked him to come out clean on the EACC’s list of shame.

According to the opposition leader, Waiguru is like a bad leg that should be amputated, The Standard reports.
