Uhuru in Ukambani for the next three days

10 June 2016, 11:18

Machakos - President Uhuru Kenyatta started his Ukambani tour on Friday, and is expected to flag-off various development projects in his four-day tour of the region.

His first stop will be Machakos County where he is expected to commission the tarmacking of the Tala-Donyo Sabuk-Thika road as well as visit several development projects, Capital FM reports.

According to his itinerary, the President will be in Kitui County on Saturday and Sunday before winding up his tour with a visit to Makueni County on Monday.

Daily Nation however reports that row is brewing between Governor Mutua and Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka on who will take charge of the tour.
