ODM official suspended for visiting DP Ruto’s home

Nairobi - The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Kisii branch has suspended its organizing secretary, Joash Maangi for visiting the Deputy President, William Ruto’s home.
Maangi, who is also the County deputy Governor was suspended for going against the Political Parties Act, 2011.
By visiting the Deputy President, Standard reports that Maangi was promoting rival Jubilee’s ideals against the ODM party constitution.
On Thursday, the Deputy President hosted a delegation from Kisii County.
According to The Star, the delegates were showing off their gifts outside a prominent hotel in Eldoret, with further details revealing that the Deputy President has been wooing Jubilee rivals with money.
