Ngilu eying governorship, not Presidency

Kitui - Former Lands Cabinet Secretary, Charity Ngilu will be running for the Kitui gubernatorial seat in the 2017 election.
Speaking at Inyuu village in Kitui East during a thanksgiving ceremony Saturday, Ngilu said that people had more faith in her than in the current leader, Julius Malombe.
She dismissed claims that she was going to vie for Presidency as a hoax, Daily Nation reports, saying they were lies fabricated by mischievous people to confuse Kenyans.
Ngilu is expected to run on her National Alliance of Rainbow Coalition (NARC) party ticket, amid rumours that Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka was going to back her for the seat.
