Mombasa - Coastal leaders have said that they will field their own presidential candidate in a bid to have a share of the national cake.
Speaking in Majengo Sunday, the area Governor Ali Hassan Joho accused UhuRuto of trying to control Kenya by imposing a reign dominated by Central and Rift Valley regions.
He was responding to President Uhuru Kenyatta’s during last week’s tour of Nakuru that Jubilee will rule until 2032.
According to Joho, Kenya belongs to all and thus everyone should be free to contest for Presidency.
He promised to run for Presidency in 2022, Standard reports, saying that a free and fair election would definitely grant him victory.
Mvita MP, Abdulswamad Nassir who accompanied Joho in a tour of the County endorsed Joho’s bid, The Star reports.
