While responding to the summons, Daily Nation reports that Joho said he did not have time to record a statement immediately but will do so on Thursday.
He also claimed that the government was intimidating them because they lost the seat to ODM.
Several Jubilee supporters including the Kabete MP, Ferdinand Waititu are said to be among the victims of the robbery with violence in the by-election.
Joho's bodyguards were also withdrawn following the chaos, with The Star reporting that they are also facing charges of robbery with violence.
