Nairobi - Kiambu Governor, William Kabogo is in hot water after two MPs in his constituency sued him for various charges.
Kabete MP, Ferdinand Waititu and his Thika Town counterpart, Alice Ng’ang’a are linking Kabogo to the torching of Madaraka Market in Thika on November 22.
It is alleged that a gang of over 200 goons raided the market on the said date, setting it on fire as police watched.
The MPs also want him stopped from evicting traders from the market, The Star reports, who accused the government of using the arson ploy to evict them.
