Nairobi - Water and Irrigation Cabinet Secretary, Eugene Wamalwa has pledged to rally behind ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi in the next Presidential election.
Speaking during the Maragoli Cultural festival over the weekend, Wamalwa lauded Mudavadi for declining a ministerial appointment in order to give chance to Wamalwa to serve in government.
Other leaders who attended the function decried disunity in the region, Standard reports, with Wamalwa bashing Moses Wetang’ula and Cyrus Jirongo who have also declared interest in the top seat come 2017.
Mudavadi, who also spoke at the Festival dismissed recent opinion polls saying they had been sponsored by politicians in order to divide the nation.
