Nairobi - The IEBC has threatened to boycott the 2017 elections over insufficient funding.
The electoral body says that poor funding was to blame for the disputes arising from the 2013 election.
According to The Standard, the commission further claimed that the upcoming polls cannot be credible, fair and transparent elections without adequate government funding.
The commission laments that despite asking for KES 2 billion to fund the ongoing voter registration exercise, the government allocated only KES 500 million.
