Nairobi - Opposition coalition CORD is planning to register as a single corporate party.
This plan comes just two weeks after the merger of all Jubilee affiliates into Jubilee Party, a move that was greatly criticized by the opposition members.
The new Cord Party will however take a different approach from Jubilee Party.
According to The Star, all the 13 Cord affiliates will be allowed to give tickets to candidates.
Raila Odinga has welcomed the proposal for joint nominations, which was fronted by Wiper.
In a statement,
his ODM party said: "CORD leader Rt. Hon Raila Odinga is in agreement
with the proposal by co-principal Hon Kalonzo Musyoka for joint
nominations between the parties forming the CORD and the fielding of
candidates on CORD flag in a similar fashion with that of Narc in 2002
