Bite the bullet and appoint flag bearer, CORD leaders told

Nairobi – As the clock ticks closer towards the Kenya 2017 elections opposition party CORD is yet to name its presidential flag bearer.
According to The Star CORD co-principal, Kalonzo Musyoka said the party have not been able to choose a candidate.

The decision he states is based on the ability for the party to flourish.
Despite the ruling Jubilee party announcing their new Jubilee party with President Kenyatta Uhuru as the head.
The three men set up for the task to appoint the CORD presidential flag bearer has fallen upon Senators James Orengo (Siaya), Johnson Muthama (Machakos) and Tongaren MP Eseli Simiyu.
Wiper Chairman, David Musila told the trio they should ‘bite the bullet’ and appoint someone within 30 days.
"People want to know who's our candidate. We have had enough of this walking and dancing together. Now that everyone has declared their candidature, at the latest August this year, we want to know who will be Cord's presidential candidate,” he said.
Cord leader and ODM chief Raila Odinga, Ford Kenya’s Moses Wetang’ula and Musyoka all want to be President yet a flag bearer has not been named.
Wetang’ula believes that’s Raila should step aside and allow for younger candidate and there has been word that he and Musoyka have been having secreting meetings.
They have denied these allegations.
Since then a source in the ODM has said that Raila is plotting a political move that will shock everyone come elections in 2017.
Nakuru County Chairman, Peter Osono claims that, “People are writing off Raila and saying that he cannot beat President Uhuru Kenyatta in 2017 but let me tell them they should be ready band prepared because what Raila is planning will shock many,” said Osono.
