Youths hold demo over Ruto, Uhuru pact

23 November 2012, 09:43

Eldoret - The Standard reports that, a section of youths staged a procession in Eldoret town to protest the yet to be signed political pact between Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto.

The group representing all counties in the North Rift region dismissed an alliance between URP and TNA, saying there has never been proper consultation of all stakeholders.

The coordinator of the group, Jacob Kemboi Rotich said that, they converged as young people to express their dissatisfaction with the duo’s political marriage because it is ill informed and no consultation was done.
