11 July 2014, 11:22

Kisumu - A Kisumu court issued a warrant of arrest against Raila Odinga’s driver over charges of robbery and sexual assault.

Erick Ominde is facing charges of incitement during the CORD’s Kisumu rally on Saturday, as well as beating up a female CID officer who was recording the rally proceedings.

Ominde is alleged to have robbed Nancy Sambaror of valuables worth KES 74 000 just after dropping the opposition leader at the Airport.

The Star reports that he physically and sexually assaulted Nancy during the robbery.

He is expected to appear in court on July 21 for mention of his case.
