National Assembly Speaker, Justin Muturi confirmed that he had received a letter from State House calling MPs to the meeting, although the details of the President’s speech were not revealed, The Standard reports.
The President is expected to travel to The Hague after ICC judges summoned him to appear in person to attend a status conference in the crimes against humanity case against him following the violence that rocked the country after the 2007 General Elections.
