Uhuru, Ruto to use private lawyer in cases
19 July 2014, 09:59
Nairobi - A ruling has been made by the High Court that President Uhuru Kenyatta and Deputy President William Ruto need to get private lawyers for their private case, Capital FM reports.
A political activist made an appeal against the two, wanting them to be removed at the office.
The court has stated because they are both in government and are being sued in their private fields they cannot be represented as as president or deputy president.
The political activist behind this notion has been advised by the justice to rather personally serve them with a notice so that the correct steps can be taken thereafter.
