UDF threatens to cut links with Jubilee
20 September 2013, 12:42
Nairobi - United Democratic Movement (UDF) party is considering cutting links with the Jubilee alliance.
UDF had signed a post election agreement to cooperate with Jubilee but its leader Musalia Mudavadi said President Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto were not consulting the party on important matters as agreed hence the withdrawal, The Star reports.
He said the party had decided to cut the links because it was not pleased with the way Jubilee is using its numbers in Parliament to pass such motions as Kenya’s withdrawal from the Rome Statute, the VAT law and the way it is handling devolution in the country.
