UDF tells on UhuRuto to registrar

Nairobi - The United Democratic Forum (UDF) has sought the intervention of the Registrar of Political Parties over what it calls breach of coalition agreement by The National Alliance (TNA) and the United Republican Party (URP).

In a letter sent to the Registrar on Monday, National Chairman Hassan Osman argued that UDF was left out of the nomination process that endorsed Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta’s candidacy, Capital News reports.

Osman said that it was not clear how the Jubilee Alliance picked Kenyatta on December 23 because the Alliance – to which UDF was also a member – had not agreed on a selection process.
