Team proposes pay cut for President

Nairobi - Daily Nation reports the Salaries and Remuneration Commission has proposed pay cut for President.

In the new proposal, the President will earn a maximum of KES 1.75M, the Speaker of the National Assembly to get a maximum of KES 1.4M, the Chief Justice to earn a maximum of KES 1.38M.

The Senate Speaker will earn a maximum of KES 1.37M, Cabinet Secretary and Chief of Defence to earn a maximum of KES 1.12M, the Attorney General to get a maximum of KES 1.09M, while the MPs will earn a maximum of KES 740,000 and minimum of KES 555,000.
