27 February 2013, 16:00

Nairobi - The National Alliance candidate for Nairobi governor, Ferdinand Waititu has suffered a setback after Gideon Mbuvi Sonko and Rachel Shebesh jumped ship to support Jimnah Mbaru.

The move by Sonko and Shebesh to support Mbaru was as a result of a falling out in the TNA camp, The Standard reports.

Sources indicated that the two met with Mbaru in a Nairobi hotel on Tuesday to strike a deal on how to campaign as a team.
