Safaricom, Airtel asked to give witnesses' records

Nairobi - President Kenyatta's lawyer at the International Criminal Court (ICC) is seeking witnesses' records from Safaricom and Airtel in his case against the two companies.
According to Daily Nation, Steven Kay, filed a confidential petition at the High Court to obtain information about key witnesses that will testify against President Kenyatta when the trial starts on November 12, 2013.
He wants to be given the witnesses communication details which include logs showing the people the witnesses have been communicating with since 2008. He also wants details of their
M-Pesa and Airtel Money transactions.
