Nairobi - The Standard reports Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC) has warned that it will sue anyone who effects higher pay for MPs.
According to SRC chairperson Sarah Serem, the MPs breached the law by nullifying the salary gazette notice.
She said anyone who acts outside the law in pursuant of payment will be deemed to have acted
unlawfully and faces the risk of being held liable to abuse of office
and aiding in misuse of public funds.
