Nairobi - Deputy President William Ruto has said the retirement perks outlined in the Deputy President and Designated State Officers Bill, 2013, are unsustainable.
Ruto instead came out urging Members of Parliament to reject the proposed bill, due to Kenya's already high wage bill, and that the retirement benefits should be modest, Capital News.
Ruto was quick to reiterate the government's commitment in ensuring public servants continued to live in dignity when they retired.
