Ruto refutes plans to halt ICC trials

Nairobi - Daily Nation reports Deputy President William Ruto’s lawyer has denied government plans to terminate ICC charges facing him, President Uhuru Kenyatta and Joshua Sang.
According to lawyer Karim Khan, Ruto was not consulted on the matter.
On Tuesday, Kenya’s permanent representative to the UN Macharia Kamau petitioned the United Nations Security Council to terminate crimes against humanity charges facing the three.
