Registrar: Mudavadi, Kioni aren't UDF party officials

Nairobi - Former presidential candidate, Musalia Mudavadi, and his running mate Jeremiah Kioni are not on the list of the United Democratic Front (UDF) party officials.
The Registrar of Political Parties Lucy Ndung’u, confirmed that the names of the two Amani Coalition leaders were not on the list during the submission of all party officials, The Standard reports.
According to the Registrar’s records, UDF has 14 officials, they include; nominated MP Hassan Osman as the chair, Nancy Gachoka and Nasir Maalim as vice chairs, Dan Ameyo and Abraham Limo as first secretary general and second, respectively.
Earlier this month, Mudavadi said he was concentrating on restructuring and reinvigorating the party ahead of the next polls in 2017.

Mudavadi said he was going to make the party a force to reckon with in the near future and establish his stance in the country’s politics.
