Kisumu - Taxes will not be increased if the proposed referendum being pushed by a section of governors will sail through.
Speaking in Kisumu on Saturday, the Council of Governors Chairman Isaac Ruto said they are asking for money that has already been collected by Treasury, and those opposing the referendum should stop using such claims to lie to Kenyans, Daily Nation reports.
