Raila to run in 2017
12 August 2013, 12:32
Nairobi - Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga announced on Sunday that he shall run for a fourth time for the presidency of Kenya in 2017 elections.
Raila assured his supporters that he would be on the ballot paper, contrary to perceptions by critics he is already out of active politics, Daily Nation reports.
Siaya Senator James Orengo, speaking at a school fundraiser said that Odinga was not going to abandon active politics, as he noted that many of his rivals were preoccupied with Raila’s age, as Kenya's past presidents were older when they ran the country.
