Raila seeks US support in devolution implementation

Nairobi - Former Prime Minister, Raila Odinga, has said that he has put the March 4 elections behind him and is now focusing on the implementation of the constitution.
In a press statement issued by his Press Secretary discussing his recent visit to the US, Raila held talks with several diplomats where he discussed Constitutional implementation, regional security, democracy, police and judiciary reforms among other issues.
During the talks, Assistant Secretary of State for Africa, Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield, pledged to continue helping Kenya in the war against terrorism.
Further reports by Daily Nation reveal that Raila also asked US to support Kenya in the implementation of devolution by investing in the counties, funding and training governors.
