Nairobi - Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga has surrendered all the luxury vehicles that had been assigned to him during his tenure in government, as directed by the Ministry of Interior and Coordination of National Government.
In a statement to Capital News, Dennis Onyango, the former premier's spokesman, said that Odinga had cooperated and moved with speed to surrender the state vehicles from the day he was formally notified of the new policy on provision of motor vehicles and security.
Onyango's statement also denied media claims that Odinga had held consultations with President Uhuru Kenyatta in Kampala on the issue of the vehicles.
