Public will participate in Cabinet vetting

Nairobi - Daily Nation reports President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Cabinet expected to be released this week will be vetted by public.
According to a confirmation by National Assembly Speaker Justin Muturi, the Parliamentary Committee on Appointments will collect views from the public regarding the suitability or otherwise of the Cabinet nominees.
This will be the first time in Kenya’s history that the public will be given a direct say in the appointment of such high ranking public officials.
