Political rivals dine together as Kenyans fight each other

20 June 2014, 10:05

Nairobi - Political rivals continue to dine together as their supporters fight each other on social media, the Elgeyo-Marakwet Senator, Kipchumba Murkomen has said.

In a twitter post, Senator Murkomen said, “I wish you knew that Raila talks with Uhuru, Murkomen dines & plans with Orengo, Khalwale & Wetangula. You are the only ones hating yourselves.”

This comes even as political temperatures continue to rise with supporters of Jubilee and Cord trading verbal jabs over various goings-on in the country.

Murkomen has been joined by tens of peace-loving Kenyans On Twitter (KOT) who are preaching peace using the hashtag # StopTheHate
