Nairobi - The Africa Centre for Open Governance (Africog) have filed a petition to stop the tallying of votes in Kenya’s elections.
According to Daily Nation reports, a three judge bench has been appointed to hear and determine a petition at the High Court in Nairobi.
In a statement to the media, Africog’s executive director Gladwell Otieno said that the failure of the electronic transmission process compromised the tallying and the same should be done afresh through verification of results using the primary forms from the polling stations.
