Mutunga names judges to probe Wambora case

Nairobi - Chief Justice Willy Mutunga has named a three judge bench to listen to Embu Governor Martin Wambora's impeachment case.
The three judges named are Richard Mwongo, George Odunga and Weldon Korir, said the CJ in a statement released to media houses.
Wambora is aiming to for a get out of jail card on his impeachment by taking the case to the High Court after he was impeached for a second time following his re-in-statement to office.
The Senate has already twice ruled Wambora unfit for office.
Members of his county assembly have insisted that the governor leave office and his deputy Dorothy Nditi is in line to take over in his absence.
Wambora's case is set to be joined together with one by 35 Embu residents who are against his removal from office.
The case will determine whether in truth Wambora was removed from office legally or illegally by members of his county assembly.
