Moi: I was backing Saitoti in 2013 race

Nairobi - Capital News reports that retired President Daniel arap Moi has revealed he was helping his one-time deputy and former Internal Security Minister George Saitoti to clinch the presidency in next year’s general election and was saddened by his death.

Speaking on Wednesday afternoon when he visited the late minister’s home in Lavington, Moi sad that George did not quarrel with anyone, and that they had been talking all the time.

The former President added that now that he has passed away I pray God will give Kenya a good leader who will unite Kenyans and one who will work for the good of Kenyans.
