Makueni poll ballot papers won't be reprinted

Nairobi - The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) will use the ballot papers it had already ordered from a UK firm in the Makueni senatorial by-election, despite the hitches on the papers.
According to Daily Nation, the High Court ruled that IEBC should go ahead with the by-election as planned because it is in public interest.
Wiper Democratic Movement Party candidate Mutula Kilonzo Jnr's name was missing on the already printed ballot papers forcing Cord to file a case seeking to compel IEBC to re-print the papers, but the ruling means that Kilonzo's name will be imposed on the papers as the commission had suggested earlier.
