Nairobi - The Makueni County government could soon be dissolved to pave way for fresh elections to pick new leaders.
Makueni residents petitioned President Uhuru Kenyatta to dissolve the county government following leadership disputes among the leaders in the county.
President Kenyatta and the Council of Governors unanimously supported the signed memorandum and a commission will be formed to investigate the residents’ demand, Daily Nation reported.
