MP faces theft charges

Nakuru - The Standard reports a case in which Nakuru East MP David Gikaria is accused of theft will proceed in September in a court in Nakuru.
The MP is charged with stealing property worth KES 210,000 from Nakuru
Municipal Council. They include 21 steel posts, 23 lanterns and
one road sign post.
He was also found in possession of stolen property at Pangani Estate in Nakuru town. However, he denied the charges and was released on a bond.
