Lawyers demand KES 380 M from IEBC

Nairobi - Lawyers who defended the IEBC in the presidential petition challenging Uhuru Kenyatta's victory in March 4 elections are now demanding KES 380 million from the electoral body.
According to The Star, Issack Hassan's lawyer Ahmednassir Abdullahi is asking for KES 50 million while the other lawyers demand between KES 25 million and KES 20 million.
IEBC commissioners are divided on the fees, with some commissioners asking the lawyers to reduce their fees.
