Nairobi - Moses Kuria has been officially declared Gatundu South MP by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commision IEBC.
The activist will now represent The National Alliance TNA in the National Assembly after the IEBC awarded him a certificate of victory Thursday.
" Mr. Moses Kiarie Kuria has been issued with a certificate declaring him Member National Assembly for Gatundu South constituency, the IEBC said on their Twitter handle.
This follows the no-contest declared by the elections body in the wake of Joseph Kiamere's withdrawal from the by-election.
Kiamere withdrew from the August 7 by-election, saying that he did not want to fight against the president's party in his won backyard.
The by-election was in place following the death of former MP Joseph Nyumu, who died of a heart attack.
