Kisumu majority, minority leader suspended

Kisumu - Kisumu County Assembly Majority Leader Samuel Ong'ow and his deputy John Olum have been suspended over alleged gross misconduct.
The two were suspended following recent chaotic scenes witnessed in the assembly, Daily Nation reported.

The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Secretary General Ababu Namwamba confirmed their suspension saying their matter had been reported to the Disciplinary Committee for appropriate swift action.
Namwamba warned all leaders who were sponsored by the party that ODM will not condone any form of misconduct and impunity that threatens Kenyans’ dream of seamless devolution.
