Vihiga - Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale, wants former Bungoma County senator Moses Wetang’ula to run unopposed to enable him recapture the seat he lost in an election petition.
According to Khalwale, the Amani Coalition, which is led by former deputy Prime Minister Musalia Mudavadi, will not field a candidate for the seat in the coming by-election, The Star reports.
Mudavadi had earlier promised to support former minister Musikari Kombo, who challenged Wetang’ula’s election in court.
