Kenya’s independence senators to grace ceremony

Nairobi - Daily Nation reports six members of Kenya’s independence Senate have been invited to the opening ceremony of the new House that was created by the new Constitution.
Clerk of the Senate Jeremiah Nyegenye has sent out invitations to Philip Toikam Lemein from Narok, M. A. Msallam from Lamu, Julius Muthamia from Meru, William Rotich from Baringo, G.N. Kalya from Nandi and Nathan Munoko from Bungoma.
The ceremony will be held at the Kenyatta International Conference Centre, where the 67-member House will be meeting until its chambers at Parliament Buildings are complete.
