Kenyan envoys recalled home

Nairobi - A number of envoys serving foreign missions have been recalled by the Jubilee government as it starts reconstituting a new team.
President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto are said to be working on a list of new ambassadors to replace those whose contracts have expired or are nearing completion, The Standard reports.
The two had ealier summoned all ambassadors and high commissioners for a meeting in Nairobi for what the Ministry of Foreign Affairs termed as a ‘briefing session’, fueling speculation that there will be a major overhaul of the missions.
