Kasarani MP released on KES 1.5m bond

Nairobi - Kasarani MP John Njoroge who had been arraigned on graft charges has been released on a KES 1.5 million bond, Daily Nation reports.
Appearing before acting chief magistrate Doreen Mulekyu of the anti corruption court, Njoroge denied soliciting KES100 000 from private contractor to facilitate payment of a CDF project in his constituency.
The hearing of the case is set for September 30.
