Karua urges govt to embrace dialogue
22 July 2014, 08:49
Machakos - NARC Kenya party leader Martha Karua Monday said the challenges currently facing the country can only be solved if the Jubilee government embraces dialogue.
She said there is still time for the government to embrace dialogue to avoid subjecting Kenyans to a national referendum, The Standard reports.
The Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (CORD) decided to push for a national referendum after the government turned down their call for dialogue.
Insecurity, high cost of living, corruption and public wage bill are among the challenges CORD wants the government to address.
