Kalonzo: Cord won’t abandon referendum push
26 August 2013, 11:08
Kitui - Former vice President Kalonzo Musyoka has said Kenyans will only benefit from devolution after holding a referendum to amend the Constitution.
He reiterated that Cord will not abandon its quest for a referendum since it is the only way that will ensure that Kenyans get what they deserve, The Standard reports.
Kalonzo accused the Jubilee government of being opposed to the referendum because they wanted to conveniently distribute national resources to counties at their will for political capital.
