Judiciary racing to clear election petitions

Nairobi - Election petitions arising from the March 4 polls will be cleared by the end of August, says the judiciary.
According to the head of the Judiciary Working Committee on Election Preparations,
Justice Mohammed Ibrahim, the judges and magistrates will rule on the petitions and meet the
Daily Nation reports the committee says it has finished hearing 50 petitions, eight, were withdrawn and 30 others
were struck out.
