Jubilee coalition retreat postponed

Nairobi - The planned Jubilee alliance retreat has been postponed indefinitely.
The retreat had been scheduled for Wednesday but reports indicate that it will not happen.
According to Majority Leader in Parliament Aden Duale, the retreat had been postponed on learning that President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto, who are the key leaders of the coalition would not be able to attend the retreat, Daily Nation reports.
He said they want to take stock of what they have achieved since their win in last year’s polls and make some improvements on the same.
His counterpart at the Senate Kithure Kindiki said they want to have the retreat before President Kenyatta gives a state of the Nation address to Parliament.
